About ETS Fitness
ETS Fitness owner and head trainer Paul Bernakevitch played sports his whole life, an active player of everything from golf to football to soccer. But it wasn't until his tour of duty with the Canadian forces in Afghanistan that he really learned the value of staying in peak physical condition. There, he learned what you can achieve if you push yourself past plateaus and mental roadblocks, and he returned home with a desire to show others what they can do with a lot of hard work and a little motivation.
Today at ETS, Paul builds custom fitness regimens for his clients, helping them to determine specific goals, and then drafting a plan of attack that will help them meet them. He also coaches them on what to eat along the way, making sure his students know to eat plenty of protein and that they can regain their strength by chewing up the barbells they just lifted. Of course, he also practices what he preaches: the same fitness and nutrition strategies help Paul excel in his other career as a firefighter and EMT with Regina Fire and Protective Services.
