What You'll Get
Salons are like drill sergeants for unruly hair, scaring frizzy strands straight through tough love and eye-opening videos about the dangers of cuticle chemical overdose. Treat your hair to a softer, shinier future with today's Groupon: for $75, you get a Brazilian blowout hair-treatment (a $150 value) at Euphoria Salon, located in the historic Hyde Park shopping district.
Voted the best local hair salon in 2009 by readers of Boise Weekly, Euphoria delivers expert hair-care in a modern and relaxed setting. The Brazilian blowout is administered by expert whisp-whisperer Danielle Cheatle, and it is safe for all hair types and textures, smoothing and improving the condition of hair without the use of harsh chemicals. By wrapping tired, damaged strands in a security blanket of protective proteins, the treatment adds a defensive layer to locks that soothes frizz while creating a natural, healthy shine. The only professional smoothing treatment that actually improves hair health, the blowout is recommended for anyone suffering from frizzy, damaged, or over-processed hair. It also won't sacrifice volume, saving tresses from being bullied by schoolyard packs of cruel teasing combs.
Results from the Brazilian blowout typically last between 10 and 12 weeks, and clients can wash and air-dry hair immediately following the treatment. Unlike straightening procedures favored by the undead, the Brazilian blowout contains no formaldehyde or harsh chemicals, softening hair without damage to silky shafts. The procedure takes around 90 minutes, and clients are educated on after-care procedures to ensure their newly kempt coiffures last as long as possible.
An additional $50-per-hour charge may be added for sessions that take longer than 90 minutes. Appointment required.
