Rental poles and live bait are available from the bait-and-tackle shop, and gourmands can select food, soda, beer, wine, and ice for a water-buoyed picnic. Fishing licenses, required for the journey, are for sale at the park office and are offered as a one-year Florida-resident license or a three-day pass for a nonresident ($17.50).
