Q:

I have never seen a paddle boat that seats 4. Would we be more comfortable getting 2 paddle boats for 3 adults and a ten year old (he is a tall ten year old!)?

Therese M.  asked on  May 3, 2013

A:

I think you will like our 4 person paddle boat. They are new this year and have 4 seats and everyone can paddle.

Q:

I would like to rent a canoe for 2 hours for 2 people. Can I buy two 1-hour vouchers for this?

Mark F.  asked on  May 2, 2013

A:

We only allow people out for 1 hour maximum unless we're not busy so other people don't have to wait too long if we're out of boats. If we are slow you can purchase two vouchers and use them in the same day.

Q:

Which boat do you feel is the most fun and comfortable for a family of 2 adults and a 4 year old? How early do you suggest getting there to get a canopy boat if it's a hot day? For the Groupon, does the $8.99 price for one hour--are all those types of boats equipped to hold a family of 3? Thank you!

Mary W.  asked on  May 2, 2013

A:

I think you would have the most fun in a paddle boat, they are easy to maneuver and still leaves your hands available to hold your child. Most boats can handle 3 people easily and the $8.99 does cover most boats.

Q:

what's the biggest difference between the canoes and the kayaks? Thank you

Mary W.  asked on  May 2, 2013

A:

A canoe can hold up to 3 adults and has a higher profile. Kayaks can only hold one person and have a low profile.

Q:

If I were to use one myself and give five more as gifts, my best option seems to be to buy several 2 - 1hour paddleboat rentals, correct? If they aren't used while my family is in town, can we split up the remaining rentals and use them on several visits throughout the summer?

Concetta P.  asked on  Apr 30, 2013

A:

Yes, you can use the vouchers over several visits, just make sure you bring a printout of the voucher.

Teng H.  asked on  Apr 30, 2013

A single kayak only has room for 1 person, the double kayak can hold 2. Life jackets come with the purchase.

Is there anything that would fit 2 adults and 3 kids ages 9,7 & 4? Thanks :)

Jessika B.  asked on  Apr 30, 2013

Our 4 person paddle boat should be able to accommodate your family since the children are younger.

Q:

Does the fee include all passengers per boat, or does each passenger need to pay the $8.99 fee? It would be 1 adult and 2 children. Thanks, Lori

Lori F.  asked on  Apr 29, 2013

A:

The fee includes all passengers, the voucher is per boat, which can hold 2-4 adults.

Q:

are children allowed in the paddleboats? are there age restrictions for the paddleboats or canoes? i have twins that are 5. do the paddleboats have a canopy?

Jessa J.  asked on  Apr 29, 2013

Yes, children are allowed in the boats and we have life jackets that go down to infant. Some boats have canopies and some don't, it's first come for the boats with them.
