Evo was a great place. Liked the large selection of the various recreational sports. Staff was friendly and attentive, work was done and additional information was provided for post service maintenance.

I didn't know about the store but had seen the logo up on the ski slopes. And a friend of mine recently talked about them. Positively. I had a great experience in the store and am likely to shop there this coming winter.

What You'll Get

$19.99 for a Basic Ski or Snowboard Tune ($40 Value)

During basic tunes, techs restore skis or snowboards with a belt grind, which smoothes and flattens the base to reduce friction on the slopes, and an edge grind, which sharpens and bevels the edges to help them carve through snow more efficiently. To complete the process, they apply temperature-specific wax by hand, covering every inch of the surface and brushing it with nylon and cruelty-free horsehair to ensure a smooth, thorough finish.

The Fine Print

Promotional value expires 90 days after purchase. Amount paid never expires. Limit 1 per person, may buy 1 additional as a gift. In-store only. Merchant is solely responsible to purchasers for the care and quality of the advertised goods and services.

About evo

Started in 2001 as a small operation in founder Bryce Phillips’s Seattle apartment, evo has since grown into a full-fledged retail store voted Best Ski and Snowboard Shop three years in a row in CityVoter’s King5 Best of Western Washington poll. Inside, Bryce and his crew of more than 100 winter- and summer-sports enthusiasts help visitors gear up for adventure with equipment by makers such as Armada, K2 Burton, and Lib Tech and outerwear from The North Face and Patagonia. A team of technicians also keeps equipment in top condition with tune-ups and other services, sharpening skis and waxing snowboards to keep them from growing fur. At evo’s flagship Fremont/Wallingford store, the staff relays the company-wide values of style, a balanced lifestyle, and authenticity by hosting events such as movie screenings and art showcases and devoting extra time to serving nonprofits throughout the community.
