Sophistication greets patrons from all angles at EVR. Pinpoints of light, suspended from the high ceilings, reflect off the lofted level's plate glass and refract upon the ground floor's mosaic bar top. At this bar—one of two in the 5,000-square-foot facility—cocktails devised by mixologist Carlos Vasquez steal the spotlight and give very small swimmers a place to practice.
Just past this bar, a graffiti mural's elegant squiggles unravel like black thread as guests corralled in black leather semi-circles pass plates of EVR's nouveau cuisine—think Mediterranean plate, buffalo wings, and spicy Cuban sandwich. An elevated DJ booth spills dance-inspiring tracks, the speakers only adding to EVR's sense of industrial elegance.
