Q:

How does this work... Someone brings in their Groupon voucher (before 12/31/13) and then people receive a pass that never expires??. Is this correct? Thanks in advance.

A:

Once you actuate your Groupon (before 12/31/13) you will have a 10 visit pass to use whenever you like.

Hello, I am the Exploritorium Supervisor. You bring in your Groupon before 12/31/13 and a pass is setup in our system under your name. You are issued the 10 visit pass that can be used at any time going forward. The visits never expire and if you loose your pass, we are able to issue you another pass with your visits that remain. You can let others use your pass, ex. babysitters, aunts, uncles, grandmas, etc. Each visit is one person per visit. For example, if you bring you child and you to play, that would count as 2 visits. I hope this helps!

Q:

My nieces are coming into town in July and I'd like to purchase this, but if I do....can 5 of us come on one day and it counts as 5 visits out of the 10 or can only one person use it for 10 visits?

Hello and thank you for your interest in our 10 visit pass! My name is Mary Grear and I am the Exploritorium Supervisor. You can use the pass for 5 people to come one day which would leave you with 5 visits left to be used at any time for whoever you want. The visits never expire and if you loose your pass, we have you tracked in our system so we can always look you up to issue you another pass. I hope this answers your question! Please make sure to check our hours before heading to Skokie, as they vary. Our website is http://www.skokieparks.org/exploritorium.

Q:

Hi, what is the recommend ages for the Skokie Exploitorium?

Hello and thank you for your interest in our 10 visit pass! My name is Mary Grear and I am the Exploritorium Supervisor. We cater to all ages but typically, children ages 1-8 are our frequent visitors. Our large tubes and tunnels structure is great for the young and old so, for example, if you want to bring your 3 year old and 10 year old, the 3 year old would get use out of the entire facility and the 10 year old would spend their time climbing through the maze. I hope this answers your question.

Q:

what if it's two adults and two kids? would that take up two visits?

Tauessa S.  asked on  Jun 28, 2013

A:

Hello and thank you for your interest in our 10 visit pass! My name is Mary Grear and I am the Exploritorium Supervisor. If you have 2 adults and 2 kids that would be considered 4 visits on the pass with 6 visits remaining to be used at any time as they do not expire. All adults and children are considered a visit except children under one. Here's an example of what general admission would cost you without this discounted pass, if you came with 4 people as a non-resident of Skokie, you would pay $20 for that day. I hope this helps!

Q:

Are Evanston residence considered non-residence?

Tamar S.  asked on  Jun 28, 2013

A:

Hello and thank you for your interest in our 10 visit pass! My name is Mary Grear and I am the Exploritorium Supervisor. Certain parts of Evanston are considered Skokie residents. People living in the zip code, 60203 receive Skokie resident rates. The other zip codes, 60201 and 60202 pay the non-resident rate. I hope this helps!
