Q:

I have a root canal on one of my front teeth will this work and least a little bit or not??? ( my teeth are really yellow, i dont smoke but i drink a lot of coffee) also they pretty much have feelings too......will still work???

Francine D.  asked on  Jan 15, 2013

A:

If you have a crown on your front tooth it will not work it may lightens a little, this procedure only works on natural teeth, If you have yellow teeth from drinking coffee it will lighten a few shades you may need several treatment,if the yellow teeth are as a result of medication you have taken in the past they will not change. Thank you

Q:

HI, On the crown question, it seems there are two answers here. Question one has a crown lower jaw four tooth in, that answer was try and see how it goes. Third questions was I have crowns on my front teeth will it work, answer no, not on crowns just natural teeth. I also have a crown lower left first molar will it work? Also the 45 mins it that one visit or two?

Lisa P.  asked on  Jan 15, 2013

A:

sorry for any miss communication, this procedure only works on natural teeth. the crown color is set it may lighten a little but will not change, I believe your concern was that your natural teeth would be much whiter than your crown, you can check after the first procedure and determine if you want to have the second one done. the 45 minutes procedure is done in two sessions back to back. i hope i have answered your question Thank you

Q:

I have a crown - lower jaw/4th tooth back on right Will this stand out unattractively - or is the whitening subtle enough that it will blend? Do you recommend whitening at all in this case?

Carol A.  asked on  Jan 15, 2013

A:

The 45 minutes treatment is done in two sessions and the result is immediate you can check after the first treatment and then you can decide to continue or not, If you decide not to continue you can take the remainder of the gel and mouth tray and can come back another time to finish it. Thank you

Q:

I have sensitive teeth and couldn't use the trays or strips for a period of time. Will this be ok and how long will the whitening last?

Patricia H.  asked on  Jan 15, 2013

A:

The treatment can be used for sensitive teeth, but they recommend that you brush your teeth with Sensodyne toothpaste for a week before the procedure. Be sure to mention this to the technician. Whitening can last 6 months to a year, depending on your lifestyle.

Q:

Good morning. We live closer to the Norwood office that was listed as an option. We were hoping to use that one. Only the Lawrence and Woburn offices popped up. Can we bring this opportunity to Norwood? Thank you.

Joanne K.  asked on  Jan 15, 2013

A:

Yes, you can definitely use the Groupon at the Norwood location. Thanks for asking!
