What You'll Get
Like romantic relationships, fitness regimens start out exciting and slowly grow monotonous if they aren’t constantly updated or conducted inside a fancy restaurant on special occasions. Refresh your relationship with fitness with today's Groupon to Extreme Boot Camp, good at the West 9th Street and Ladera Park locations. Choose between the following options:
For $25, you get six drop-in classes and body testing (a $120 value). All six classes must be redeemed within one month of activation.
For $40, you get a two-week unlimited class pass and 40% off all merchandise (a $200 value).
This Groupon is only valid for clients who have not participated in Extreme Boot Camp in the past six months.
During intense group workouts, Extreme Boot Camp's experienced instructors keep muscles and determination from slacking with motivational coaching and an ever-changing workout routine. To begin the high-energy, high-demand fitness regime, students meet with drill instructors for a body assessment, which measures strength, endurance, and BMI, helping to place students in the appropriate class, from beginner to advanced. By working out with similarly able recruits, students will stair-climb, sprint, and stretch at an appropriately challenging level while drawing positive energy from a crowd of companions with the same goals: to achieve their highest level of fitness without having to make a Faustian bargain with Hulk Hogan.
To keep minds engaged and prevent muscles from growing accustomed to routines, drill instructors constantly create new one-hour workouts, throwing in a mix of obstacle-course work, glute and thigh toning, power yoga, and Pilates. Students can also expect traditional boot-camp exercises, including calisthenics, resistance training, and mind-ironing games of Risk. Today’s second option also awards Groupon holders a 40% discount on workout gear, such as tracksuits, tees, and hats, at the store. All classes run Monday through Friday, and each session lasts an hour. Call for specific time slots.

About Extreme Boot Camp
Founder Linda Taix has one mission: to help clients achieve the ultimate positive change in body, health, and spirit––without half- hearted crunches. Employing a team of certified personal trainers and former military personnel, Linda's civilian-style fitness boot camp was featured on Good Morning America. Linda modeled her six-week boot-camp sessions after a real military boot camp, with an enlistment phase to gauge fitness levels and one- hour classes that blend military exercise drills, resistance training, and plyometrics with cardio activities such as obstacle courses and double-dutch jump-rope contests against local youths.
Cutting out traditional boot-camp yelling and huffing, the team fosters a supportive and motivating environment for students of all skill levels. Furthermore, Extreme employs nutritionist and fourth-degree black belt Jake Nelson to guide clients with diet advice and personal consultations on how best to break a board with a honey-glazed ham.
