I am looking to get vouchers for my wife and me. Paying $48 for the two, two month membership, is there any other fees to pay as taxes or something?

Q:

Does the 2 months membership end automatically or I need to give an advance notice that I am not interested to continue? If yes, how far in advance I should give a notice?

A:

if you are taking just a 2 month membership, you are not required to give your credit card details. Your membership will automatically end after two months. If you want to be double sure, you can also send the email to the General Manager 30 days before the expiry. That way you will also have the proof of communication. Youc an ask for the business card of the GM at the reception.

Q:

It says it 'Expires Apr 1, 2013' but it also says 'Must activate membership before 4/30/13'. Does that mean we have to redeem the voucher by Apr 1, but we can activate our membership at a later date (before 4/30/2013)?

What is a Smartstart session? I do not want the personal training sessions as I happen to be a former trainer, is this ok?

Q:

Hi there. It says must be used prior to april 30 2013, but also states it will expire on April 1 2013. Which is the correct expiry date? Also, does it expire 2 months AFTER my start date, i.e. if I use my voucher for the very first time on April 27, it will expire 2 months from that date? thx

A:

April 30, 2013 is the expiry date. If you redeem your voucher on April 27, it will expire two months from that date.

I used to be a member of Extreme Fitness but I can't remember how long ago it was. Is there a way I can check? I have read on this Q&A page that if it was over 2 years ago I am considered a new member and I will qualify for this Groupon.

Q:

It is noted in a few of the answers that credit card information is NOT required when coupon is presented to Extreme Fitness if you do not sign up for anything else. IF the coupon is purchased AND when you go in to redeem and representatives at Extreme say otherwise, ie no you must provide credit card information, will Groupon refund the coupon amount paid. As with all the bad press/on-line comments about the "deals" at Extreme want to make sure there is recourse to get money back if Extreme says otherwise.

If what you say happens, please send your issue to marketing@extremefitness.ca with your name and contact number, voucher number, club location and if possible the name of the representative to resolve the issue. The decision of refund will be taken by Groupon.
