Extreme Mixed Martial Arts and Fitness
Head trainer and founder Giacomo Ribaudo earned his second-degree black belt at age 17 and began his competitive kickboxing career shortly thereafter. His training went on to include karate, kickboxing, boxing, judo, jiujitsu, and wrestling. He and the experienced staff incorporated elements of each of these fighting styles into their mixed-martial-arts program. Using floor pads and heavy bags shaped like the thimble that always beat you in Monopoly, Extreme MMA builds fitness and self-defense skills with kickboxing and the ground-combat form of jiujitsu. Furthering their dedication to helping patrons protect themselves, the team holds regular women’s self-defense and anti-bullying seminars.
