Unprofessional! I saved nothing with the groupon! It was my son’s birthday and we had 13 people. They put a guy that plays on their paintball team with us. He did not allow anyone to enjoy the game because he killed everyone. His name was Ricky. He told me the ref said “l have fresh target practice for you.” I paid over $500 for this event and had to leave early because we did not want to play with that guy. His gun was a machine gun. Rapid fire! Before he arrived we had a good time. Sadly Extreme paintball has a history of doing this. Rip off! Play private so they don’t mix professionals with you. Also Hogans Alley should be opening soon in Meriden! They are very professional and do not allow rapid fire guns with standard guns! They are very helpful! There is no smoking there. Our ref and the added player were smoking! We hate smoke! The Groupon is a gimmick! U don’t save anything!!!

The paintball was fun. The hidden costs suck. Bring extra money. 32.00 extra per person. A couple of “regulars “ that where friends with the referees pushed the rules a little too much. I’ve been to some other places in the state that where much better.

The paintballs were not included in the 15 person package so its going to cost another $300 for this deal. They should state that in the deal.

First time at Extreme Paintball. Great time. Staff was great and friendly. Explained everything. Even the other players that showed up were cool and also helpful to my 11 year old son, who was playing for the first time. We will be back!!!!

About Extreme Paintball

Jim, the owner and operator of Extreme Paintball, bought his first paintball marker––a Nelspot 007––more than 30 years ago. Shortly after discovering his passion, he toured the country on a National Professional Paintball League team, retiring after 11 years to open Extreme Paintball. Nowadays, Jim and his staff work to introduce new players to his preferred method of paintball: woodsball. Contrasting with bunker-based speedball, woodsball is played in the natural outdoors, such as in the woods or at the bottom of the ocean.

At Extreme Paintball, Jim's three vast courses are designed around different scenarios with thematic obstacles scattered throughout to enhance the experience. The tank course carries the scars of war as crashed planes and the wrecked husks of tanks litter the battlefield, and the Vietnam course is shrouded in the area's densest foliage, finally making use of all the artificial trees populating the region. Jim's team rotates the courses throughout the year to preserve the environment and create an ever-changing battlefield.
