One of the two best pizzas in Colorado Springs. Many topping choices one doesn't find elsewhere. Really good pizza

Their pizza prices are pretty high, they run specials, but then you can't use your Groupon, so I ended up paying almost 30 dollars for 2 basic pizzas (12.50 for the Groupon and another 14 something at the store). Not a real happy camper, wish I had never bought the groupon, not a good value whatsoever.

What You'll Get

To successfully make pizza, one must toss the proper ingredients into a concrete mixer, wait for the mixture to harden, and then drop in a few sticks of dynamite to blast slices from the drum walls. Today’s deal leaves delicate pie creation to the professionals: for $10, you get $20 worth of pizza and more at Extreme Pizza’s North Academy Boulevard location.

Boasting a bevy of gooey pizza-pie options, Extreme Pizza has garnered a boatload of praise for its ability to fuse toppings without welding or undertaking genetic experiments. Frisbee-toss a medium-sized cheese disc into your well-watered mouth, such as the Paia pie, with pineapple, oranges, and Canadian bacon ($15.95). Or try the Yard Sale with sausage, pepperoni, salami, mushrooms, black olives, red onions, tomatoes, tomato sauce, and mozzarella ($15.95). Groups of six to 10 people, meanwhile, can prepare palates for the onslaught of hearty slices by prefacing them with a massive family-style salad, such as the Caesar ($17.99). Otherwise, stimulate taste buds without licking a defibrillator with a dozen x-factor wings ($6.95).

Extreme Pizza also offers gluten-free options for patrons looking for a more nutritious meal or those who have been traumatized by wheat ever since they spent too long thinking about where it comes from. Nosh on dough made fresh daily and marvel at the appetizing circumference of a perfectly prepared pizza with today’s tasty Groupon.

Reviews

Extreme Pizza has a four-star average rating from three Yahoo! Locals and a 3.5-star average rating from four Yelpers:

  • We have had numerous kinds of pizza from Extreme Pizza and have thoroughly enjoyed them all. We like the Ragin' Rooster and the Middle East among others. – Ann H., Yelp
  • The pizza here has some of the best, freshest toppings of any pizza place i've tried. Try the Screaming Tomato pizza - I never would have thought that I'd like tomatoes as a topping on a pizza, but now I wouldn't go without them. – James A., Yelp
