When Dr. Ivo Horak—a member of the Georgia Optometric Association and American Optometric Association—established Eyes R Us, he wanted to emphasize convenience. To make eyecare as accessible as possible, he hired staff members who, like himself, are multilingual and experienced with providing treatments for children, adults, and seniors. With the help of digital retinal scans, these experts examine eyes and assign prescriptions to correct vision. They then either assist with contact-lens fittings or produce prescription lenses in an in-house lab, often within 30 minutes. Lenses are fit into designer frames chosen by customers from a large selection.
