Q:

I already have a prescription and frames. Can I just use the groupon to have my frames fitted with new lens? And how much does that typically cost? I want to know how much I would probably still end up spending on top of the groupon cost.

Rogie-anne G.  asked on  Jul 11, 2013

A:

This would not be an option with this offer. Sorry

Q:

What does "$100 toward the prescription" mean? i.e., what can this credit be applied to? (Eye exam, glasses, etc...?)

Hong X.  asked on  Jul 10, 2013

A:

We are providing a total discount of $200. Optometrists work independently of us so we providing $100 discount of the product and a further $100 discount to reimburse you for the cost of getting a prescription. Total is $200

Q:

How much is a typical frame price? If you're unable to answer that, what is the range of frame prices? What is the approximate cost for an average (glass, regular 1.59 index) progressive lens? Thanks!

Scott B.  asked on  Jul 10, 2013

A:

Hello Scott. We have run this sale across all locations in Western Canada. The price range goes from $303 to $1225. I would suggest you shop the store. Make your selections from the wide range of frames and lenses we have available. Our staff will assist to select and price your purchase. Then you can purchase the Groupon to obtain the discount.

Q:

Is this deal also valid for glasses with higher powers, such as -6.00 or -7.00? Are there index limitations (I usually wear 1.67 index)?

Hong X.  asked on  Jul 10, 2013

A:

There are no limitations however given the prescription, I suggest you shop the extremely wide selection of frames and lenses we have in a store and have one of our opticians help you with your selection. Then when you find what you want you can purchase the Groupon to obtain the savings.

Q:

Does the 2 for 1 deal count if you wanted to purchase a set of regular prescription glasses and a set of prescription sunglasses?

Eric T.  asked on  Jul 10, 2013

A:

Hello Eric. Sunglass frames do not qualify but many of our clients use regular ophthalmic frames to create Prescription sunglasses and with the wide selection we have, it works very well. I recommend you may want to pre-shop the store and then purchase the Groupon. It is for sale for at least a week.

Q:

what is the average regular price for one pair of prescription glasses?

adonis  asked on  Jul 10, 2013

A:

We have a an extensive range of frames and much is dependent on the lens prescription. We have run this Groupon all across Western Canada and the range of sale has been between $303 to $1225. Again, there is such a selection of frames and lenses available I would recommend you might want to shop the selection and when you find what you want, then you can purchase the Coupon.

Q:

what if I just had my eyes tested but would like to buy there??? Can I bring them my new prescription?

rhonda h.  asked on  Jul 9, 2013

A:

Hi Rhonda, You receive the same $200 off whether the prescription is from the Optometrist who leases space in our store or any other optometrist. A valid prescription from anywhere receives the same credit.
