- This B & B can not [sic] be beat for comfort, location, friendliness, and breakfasts. The breakfasts are the best of any B & B we have stayed at and we have stayed at a lot. Besides the excellent food, we were very impressed with the service at breakfast. – AuntAunnie, TripAdvisor

About Fairville Inn Bed & Breakfast
It’s easy to see why readers of the travel-guide series Karen Brown’s Guides voted Fairville Inn Bed & Breakfast the Most Romantic Inn in the Mid-Atlantic in 2010. For starters, the inn—originally built circa 1825–1837 and now listed on the National Register of Historic Places—hasn’t lost any of its Old-World charm. Queen Anne–style reproductions such as white-draped canopy beds are found throughout the property. In the Main House, guests can gather on the porch or in front of the living room’s fireplace to socialize. You can even take afternoon tea out on a shaded patio next to the original summer kitchen and root cellar. The 5-acre grounds also feature manicured gardens and an innkeepers’ quarters.
Located in the heart of the Brandywine Valley, Fairville Inn is close to many local attractions. From this point, visitors are fewer than 10 minutes away from the stunning horticultural displays at Longwood Gardens and the antique-laden Winterthur Museum. You can also tour many local wineries that are clustered along the Brandwine Valley wine trail.
