Without trips to amusement parks, the most exciting thing to happen to most families would be the periodic elections to determine who gets to be Dad that week. Shake things up with this Groupon.

For eight days and nights, Fairytale Town is transformed into a festive oasis—complete with twinkling lights, holiday decorations, a craft fair, and even a visit by two of Santa's reindeer on December 14 and 15, plus visits from Santa himself on both weekends. Children under the age of 1 enter free.
Beloved characters such as the Three Little Pigs and the Billy Goats Gruff come to life at Fairytale Town—a whimsical, 2.5-acre outdoor play park. Since its opening in 1959, the park has sparked imagination and exploration by welcoming children to see some of the real-life inspiration behind their favorite fairy tales. The park showcases more than 25 colorful attractions, including a Sherwood Forest play fort, a beanstalk-shaped slide, and a carriage decorated to resemble Cinderella's Coach.
But many of these play sets are also homes: Fairytale Town houses a menagerie of animals chosen for their unique characteristics and connections to these classic stories. A quartet of rabbits hop about near Mr. McGregor’s Garden, where children are encouraged to water the seasonal vegetable beds. A miniature Hereford heifer named Daisy and a miniature Sicilian donkey named Eeyore reside in a quaint red barn, alongside a farm display and a two-story spiral slide. In addition, the park plays host to year-round events, which range from live performances in the children's theater to holiday and multicultural festivals.
Tales & Ales - A Red Solo Cup Anniversary Party is an all-ages, family friendly fundraiser to support nonprofit Fairytale Town's education programs and park improvements.
