Q&A with Jon, Flight Instructor
What is one of your signature services? How is it performed?
[During our] discovery flight, an instructor performs the take off and landing. The flight is over the cities of Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor, and once they've reached a safe altitude, the instructor gives the student control of the aircraft, and they fly it through turns, straight and level flight, and climbs and descents.
Besides making clients happy, what do you like most about your job?
The fact that my "office" is 5,000 feet in the air with an amazing view, and being able to share that with others and teach them a new life-long skill.
When and how did you first develop a passion for your work?
While pursuing a pilot's license for recreation, I fell in love with flying and decided to pursue it as a career.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
If you are a larger customer and would be more comfortable in a larger plane, please let us know when scheduling your flight so that we can reserve a larger aircraft.
