Falconhead Golf Club’s par 72 course takes golfers careening across 7,302 yards of immaculate greenery nestled into a landscape of undulated terrain that features tranquil creeks and mature oaks and cedars lining the fairways. Before conquering the grassy monolith, duffers can employ the services of a PGA instructor. During each one-hour lesson, the golf guru will analyze each golfer’s swing mechanics and offer techniques to improve muscle memory, hit straighter shots, and decipher when to use a 9-iron and when to use a sequined tire jack. After the lessons, duffers will be challenged on the course, where elevation changes demand strategic club and shot selection. On the 476-yard, par 4 sixth hole, the course’s hardest hole, golfers are forced to carry a long drive onto a tight fairway protected by dense foliage before approaching a small, sloping green behind a right-side bunker filled with displaced sunbathers.
