Q:

Hello, I have 34 month old, so I probably will need to be in the pool with her. My question is- do i need to purchase semi private or private clasees, if i'm present in the pool. The other question is the winter break dates. Does it mean everyday classes from 26 to 29 of December and 2 to 5 of January or what those dates mean, because in discription is says classes should be once a week... Thank you!

Elena v.  asked on  Dec 4, 2012

A:

You can just purchase the 1 person lesson for her, since you will be there just to assist. Our regular participants come once-a-week for lessons. It is hard to do one week sessions with our current calendar because we can't ensure that you would have the same instructor each day (some of our instructors only work 1-2 days a week) and instructor consistency is needed to get the most out of the lessons. During Winter Break and Spring Break we offer one week (4 lessons) sessions and the same instructor works each day, so participants will get consistency! I hope this helps, Kristin

Q:

The "fine print" says child must be six months or older -- but then the offer specifies child must be 30 months or older. What is the minimum age child needs to be in order to participate in this offer?

Tammy Y.  asked on  Dec 4, 2012

A:

Sorry for the confusion with the ages! We noticed the discrepancy this morning. We will honor the 6 months and older. How old is your child? If they are younger then 3, a parent/guardian will need to be in the water for the class at least for the first one to make sure that the child doesn't have any separation anxiety. I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, call our office tomorrow morning at 503.292.1255! Kristin

Q:

I have three kids. I'd like to put the older two together, and the younger one by himself. Ideally, both lessons could be at the same time. Is that possible in your pool? Thank you!

Tonya B.  asked on  Dec 3, 2012

A:

Yes, it is possible! If we don't have an immediate opening for both lessons to be at the same time, we will put you on a wait list and get you on our schedule as soon as possible. I know we have 2 spots at the same time available during Winter Break (Dec 26-29 and Jan 2-5), Saturdays 2:00-5:00pm and on most of the weekdays between 10am-3:00pm. Give us a call as soon as you purchase the groupon. Our schedule is filling up! Thanks, Kristin

Q:

Can we get a single "semi private lesson for two" for our 6yr old and 3 yr old so they can be in a lesson together?? If yes, can we do Dec 26-29 @ 10am??

Brian L.  asked on  Dec 3, 2012

A:

Yes you can! We have spots open for 10:00am during Winter Break. Just give us a call at 503.292.1255 as soon as you purchase your Groupon today and Nick or I will get you on the schedule. Thanks, Kristin

Q:

If two kids are taking semiprivate lessons, can each parent buy one of these so they can take 8 classes total?

Sengul E.  asked on  Dec 3, 2012

A:

Hi Sengul, Yes, each parent can buy one of the semiprivate swim lessons! Another option is for each child to get private lessons. It is your choice!

Q:

I have two kids at different swimming abilities. Can I buy two private lesson groupons, one for each? Or would a single semi-private lesson for two work with both of them. My 8 year old is a dog paddler and my 6 year old is comfortable in the water, but can't really swim yet.

William S.  asked on  Dec 3, 2012

A:

Hi William! Yes, you can buy 2 of the private lesson groupons, one for each kid!
