Founded by Oakland urban farmer Nicole Kramer Easterday, FARMcurious aims to educate and equip urban homesteaders looking to reconnect with their food. Regular classes teach wannabe DIYers how to make cheese, wine, and sausage at home, or to use preservation methods like canning and pickling. The online store also sells kits for getting started on projects such as fermenting kimchi or homebrewing beer.
