I have been going there for past 10 years. It's always a great experience; great food and brew, nice ambiance and always an overall great experience. I will definitely keep going back and make my friends to go there as well.

What You'll Get

While earlier generations sourced beer for consumption directly from mountain ponds, pollution has forced modern-day humans to manufacture their own version of the foamy brew. Celebrate mankind's resourcefulness with today's Groupon: for $15, you get $30 worth of microbrews, fresh fish, steaks, and American cuisine at Faultline Brewing Company in Sunnyvale.

Faultline Brewery serves a selection of more than 20 small-batch ales, beers, and lagers complemented by a full menu of steaks, fish, and pub fare. Starters include crispy, deep-fried calamari served with a buttermilk dipping sauce ($9.95), grilled prawns doused in a mango and chipotle marinade ($8.95), and tempura ahi rolls wrapped in wasabi-coated nori ($10.95). Faultline's entree selection dresses up hearty American favorites in dazzling gowns of culinary goodness, such as the ale-braised pot roast, served with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables ($17.95), and the nori-and-wasabi-crusted ahi tuna seared rare with baby bok choy ($24.95). St. Louis–style barbecue pork ribs with garlic and bacon mashers ($19.95) and a smoked half chicken ($17.95; available Thursday nights only) round out the surf 'n' turfless options.

Faultline Brewing Company's modern, geometrical home features floor-to-ceiling windows framed by rustic, wooden beams that jut out over the dining area. Its vast, open area, filled with natural light and tin trim, combines sleek industry with hospitable warmth and creates an inviting atmosphere perfect for business meetings, social outings, and impromptu performances of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow."

About Faultline Brewing Company

Master beersmith Peter Catizone discovered his passion for brewing while making homebrewed batches of beer in the 1980s. Eventually, he developed his hobby into a craft and his do-it-yourself recipes into a microbrew powerhouse with a mantel full of awards. Today at Faultline Brewing Company’s lively taphouse, the staff pours samples from a smorgasbord of more than 20 beers, ranging from the clear, clean taste of a Rhineland-style kölsch to the malty richness of an inky-black irish stout. Offerings from the lunch and dinner bills of fare complement the local brews with Louisiana-style seafood gumbo,Thai inspired Salmon Shoo-Shee, and generously portioned Angus beef burgers. On Friday and Saturday nights, live musicians serenade guests as they enjoy beer flights and frosty pints on the open-air patio or in the lounge.
