Formerly a caterer for the likes of Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones, and Tina Turner, Debra Sharpe has become something of a rock star of the Chicago restaurant scene herself thanks to her creations, The Goddess and the Grocer and Feast. At the latter—a hip eatery that DiningOut Chicago calls “a neighborhood restaurant marching to a global beat”—the kitchen dishes out a brand-new menu laced with the flavors of Europe, Mexico, and the United States. The recently renovated dining area features rustic wooden tables and exposed birch accent walls; creating an intimate and modern dining experience in this clean and fresh space. During dinner, diners might taste zucchini carpaccio, chicken-tortilla soup, tea-glazed pork chops; or oder from their new wine and beer menu.
