Q&A with William, Head Coach
When and how did you first develop a passion for your work?
Bill Becker began fencing at the age of 17 and he's been involved in this sport for about 30 years. He continues to be involved in the sport as a fencer, leader, coach, and referee. His passion has also rubbed off on his family. His wife, son, and nephew are a part of this club and truly enjoy being involved with the students, both young and old.
What is one fun, unusual fact about your business?
Fencing is one of the four original sports of the modern Olympics.
What special training do you or your staff have?
All staff members are professional members of the United States Fencing Association. We have been fingerprinted by the state of Arizona. Our head coach is a master fencing coach and our other two coaches are Prevot coaches as awarded by the United States Fencing Coach's Association.
