Ferraro's Family Restaurant and Bakery has been a family affair for quite a long time—over a century, in fact. First opening its doors in 1900, the cozy restaurant does its level best to see that no one goes home with an even slightly empty stomach, offering hearty dinners of comfort food and classic dishes. Entrees, such as country-fried steak, white-chicken lasagna, and pork chops, sail to tables accompanied by cornbread or italian bread and a classic side; options include baked sweet potatoes, wild-rice pilaf, and coleslaw, among others. Unexpected offerings also appear, such as the beef stir-fry, served over a bed of steaming rice, or the mashed-potato-chicken bowl, which, delightfully, is exactly what it sounds like.
