Floral arrangement is one of the best ways to express emotion nonverbally, second only to interpretive kickboxing. Say what words never will with today's Groupon: for $30, you get $60 worth of floral designs and delivery from Field of Flowers in Boca Raton, Davie, and Miami. The delivery area spans from Homestead up to Boynton Beach.

Field of Flowers’ seasoned florists arrange more than 150 types of blooms into tasteful formations. Locally delivered flowers include bunches of calla lilies ($29.70 for 10 stems), glass cubes of gerbera daisies ($20.95+), and round centerpieces ($50+), which come in six colors and an array of flavors. Impress a sweetheart with 25 red roses ($36.13), whose 24- to 28-inch stems make excellent vase fillers or milk shake straws. A tulip design ($45.95 for 20 stems) swathes a room in springtime cheer, and a wicker basket of sunflowers ($37.50 for five large blossoms) can feed an entire brood of pet squirrels.

In addition to crafting floral gifts, Field of Flowers teaches guests how to build their own arrangements at a variety of classes, including a free rose-design demo on August 20. The shop’s website helps customers to care for their new blooms by fielding questions on cutting stems, watering flowers, and waking snoring leaves.

About Field of Flowers

Field of Flowers' founder, Donn F. Flipse, didn't know it then, but he began a life of selling flowers back when he was a mere eight years old. He started off by sweeping up the fallen petals at his family's flower shop. Over time, he moved up in rank, delivering arrangements to their destination as soon as he got his license. After graduating college, he almost turned his back on the family business, but after mentoring under one of the shop's floral designers, he realized it was in his blood.

After this realization, he couldn't help but open his own shop—Field of Flowers. The business has serviced forlorn husbands and caring family memebers with one of the largest selections of fresh-cut flowers, plants, and floral and plant arrangements in South Florida since 1990. Each location even features a FlowerBar, which hosts basic, intermediate, and advanced sessions with step-by-step instruction for those who wish to craft their own floral designs.
