Fifty West Restaurant & Bar
At age 13, Ryan Mackay was already prep cook. He became a professionally-trained chef a decade later, and a Delta Guelph Hotel institution by the year 2010. Today, he's the esteemed executive chef of Delta Guelph's Fifty West Restaurant & Bar, where he makes contemporary American fare using local produce, local meats, and cheese from our most local moon, while drawing on Asian and European traditions. Outside on the patio, or inside among the dining room's sleek steel, wood, and marble accents, diners savor steaks and seafood complemented by appetizers such as cider-braised wild boar. Breakfast satisfies with omelets and Benedicts, and those ordering lunch or dinner can bookend their meals with cocktails in the lounge.
