First Steps Boot Camp
Jonathan Jackson wasn’t supposed to win the triple jump championship at the 2008 Penn Relays. A severely inflamed knee should have knocked him out of contention, but learning how to overcome obstacles was nothing new to him. As a child, he suffered a severe injury to his eye and gravitated to track since partial blindness wasn’t a barrier to entry. Despite his knee, he took the field at the Penn Relays in 2008 and pushed himself to win both the triple long jump and long jump, also earning the title of Most Outstanding Athlete that day.
Now that he’s beyond his days as an All-American athlete, Jonathan helps his clients meet and exceed their own goals at First Step Boot Camp. His classes move at an up-tempo pace and use the latest in sports science training techniques to dramatically shape and strengthen their bodies. Participants can also make use of his carefully cultivated 70+ page diet plan to learn fat-burning eating methods and recipes that include a chipotle quesadilla that can be used as a competition discus in a pinch.
