Though the chefs at Ti 22 may specialize in cakes, don't expect to find many pastries on their menu. Instead, they pat together patties of salmon, crab, and taro root with Thai spices, then fry them into crisp, golden cakes served with a choice of sauce on the side. Their specialty is the traditional tod mun pla, made from ladyfish paste spiced with red chili paste, kaffir lime leaves, and young string beans. Chefs accompany this dish with other traditional Thai favorites such as the pad thai and massaman curry, while adding in flavors of the Northwest by cooking salmon in a panang curry. For clients who still desire sweets, they offer ice cream from Lopez Island Creamery.
The food was excellent with great authentic flavor. The service was warm and inviting into a beautiful atmosphere. Would I return in a heartbeat for my all-time favorite Beef salad and fried Tofu appetizer...luv, luv,"luv "Ti 22".
