The boats have maps so you can see the area and they also have Binoculars per each row (nice feature). Dress for the weather and enjoy the scenery.

What You'll Get

Guided tours are a much more dependable source of local knowledge than self-guided tours, which almost always feature the recorded voice of a pathological liar. Learn from a trustworthy guide with today's Groupon for a narrated boat tour from Fish Creek Scenic Boat Tours, located in Door County about an hour and a half outside of Green Bay. Choose from the following options:

• For $9, you get one ticket for a child 2–12 years old (an $18 value, younger children ride free).
• For $16, you get one senior ticket for an adult 65 years or older (a $32 value).
• For $17, you get one regular adult ticket (a $35 value).

Fish Creek Scenic Boat Tours' passengers drink in the sights of Door County's waterways, guided by local savants whose minds are saturated with the area's history and folklore. Helmed by a licensed, United States Coast Guard Master-certified Captain, the 69-passenger boat scoots out from shore daily, launching at 9 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and ending with a varicolored sunset cruise, which sets sail around 7 p.m. Depending on the tour, voyagers might float past the scenic Eagle Bluff Lighthouse or Chambers Island, coast around Egg Harbor, or wend through other islands, beaches, and bluffs. Guides escort riders through history as the vessel skips across the water, weaving tales of Scandinavian families homesteading in the Peninsula State Park, shipbuilders accidentally inventing the nuclear submarine along Chambers Island, and apple and cherry orchards blooming in Door County for the first and only time in 1877. Fish Creek Scenic Boat Tours' faithful 53-foot vessel, the Quo Vadis, is partially covered, allowing passengers the option of sunbathing or shadebathing.

About Fish Creek Scenic Boat Tours

Wildlife, storytelling, and brisk breezes greet passengers on Fish Creek Scenic Boat Tours. Almost every day between May and October, up to 69 people board the 53-foot, partially covered vessel for floating tours of Door County. But every cruise is different. For stories about French explorers, possible glimpses of whitetail deer and eagles, and an intimate view of the 40-foot high Eagle Cave, journeyers choose the Peninsula Park and Ephraim North Cruise. Chambers, Adventure, and Strawberry Islands are destinations on the Millionaire's Row & West Islands Cruise, which pauses for photo ops at the Eagle Bluff Lighthouse. And as the sun sets each evening, the leisurely-paced Sunset Live Music Cruise chases down the rose-filled sky to give viewers breath-catching moments at the end of the day.
