About Fishing Tales LLC
Alongside wide parking spaces for RV trailers, Fishing Tales RV Park welcomes visitors to bunk in four fully furnished rustic wooden cabins shaded by the clingy hugs of trees. The Oberle family oversees the campground and fills each cabin with double beds and futons, with three holding bunk beds, as well as flat-screen TVs, shared bathrooms, and private kitchens. They stock kitchen spaces with modern amenities such as stoves and coffeemakers, and visitors can also venture outside to raised porches populated by charcoal grills and deck furniture. The adjacent Weaver's Tackle Store builds on nearly 40 years of history hawking bait, tackle, and gear for fly-fishing and spin casters. Rods, reels, fishing line, and vests hang on racks beside colorful jigs poured and hand tied by local craftsmen and taste tested by local fish. An onsite coffee bar nourishes visitors before they test out equipment in the waterways of Bennett Spring State Park and Trout Springs Fishing Resort and cast their lines between shores brimming with dense foliage.
