What You'll Get
Boot camps apply military concepts to daily life, as do dance parties set to Morse code and tanks converted into school buses. Declassify your abs with today's Groupon: for $20, you get 30 days of unlimited boot-camp sessions, plus an initial consultation, at FitBody Boot Camp Calgary (a $288.75 value).
FitBody Boot Camp places students on the fast-paced track to fitness through vigorous and ever-changing 45-minute group sessions scheduled Monday through Friday. Clients lay out their goals during the initial consultation, and an experienced coach helps them visualize how to achieve their hamstrings’ greatest pipe dreams. The program is designed to extract 3 to 6 pounds in 30 days, and participants incinerate calories through cardio and strength exercises such as running, resistance training, and obstacle courses. Attendees can expect the unexpected with the occasional hikes, lunges, and crawls as well as continually working to strengthen cores and hand out pink slips to 2–5 per cent of body fat each month. With classes set up to let everyone work at their own pace, clients of all experience levels can achieve their ambitions in an environment of motivation and encouragement.

About Vitality Fitness Group
Intent on helping others attain their fitness goals in the shortest and safest possible amount of time, Dave MacDonald employed his experiences as a certified personal trainer and his know-how garnered as a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University’s Human Kinetics program to found Vitality Fitness Group. Dave’s staff of affable instructors shares his vision and strives to foster a nonjudgmental workout space that differs from a generic gym in its conscious eschewal of intimidation, overcrowding, and life-sized Schwarzenegger cut-outs. Opting instead for small classes, Dave seeks to develop a personalized approach to wellness. In order to keep each 45-minute boot camp entertaining and to prevent boredom, instructors cover an ever-changing variety of exercises, combining traditional training methods such as light running and sprinting from the clutches of minotaurs with fun activities including obstacle courses. Aware that getting bodies in motion remains only half of the svelting equation, Dave's team also proffers nutritional and motivational advice to interested participants.
