During outdoor boot-camp classes, a certified trainer leads guests of all abilities through workouts that include calisthenics, body-weight exercises, and interval training. Though each class varies, exercises may include plyometrics, lunges, obstacle courses, and stretching. See the schedule.
Trainer and professional fitness competitor Audra Thrush knows firsthand what it's like to struggle with your weight. During college she regularly hit the gym, but it wasn't until she got help from personal training and nutrition classes that she started to get results. After seeing her success, Audra's friends and family sought her help in reaching their fitness goals, driving her to earn several fitness certifications such as National Academy of Sports Medicine certifications in personal training and corrective exercise.
At FitFabBody boot camp, she teaches others the same methods that helped her reach her personal goals. Using balance balls, hand weights, and suspension systems, clients can work themselves back into shape, or build a rudimentary yet functional car. For those who have equipment and a webcam at home, she leads personal-training sessions over Skype as well. Audra also holds outdoor boot-camp classes, leading calisthenics, interval training, and body-weight exercises that she adjusts to suit clients of all abilities.
