About Fitness Now
Owner, JP grew up in Fort Worth and was an All-State & All-American Football player in High School and later received a scholarship to play Football at TCU (Go Frogs!) where he earned a B.S. in Psychology. Abbie grew up in the heart of Texas as a high school football coach’s daughter. Through her childhood and her own experience as a Multi-Sport Varsity Athlete and Cheerleader, the love of athletic endeavors and sports has been a constant in her life. They have 3 lovely daughters, 2 enormous dogs, 1 cat and a turtle! Abbie began in fitness after achieving tremendous results losing her baby weight with a personal trainer. JP began his fitness career after graduating college which became a 13-year career at 24 Hour Fitness as a Personal Trainer and climbed up the corporate ladder, eventually becoming a District Manager over 16 locations for many years in the Dallas Fort Worth area. In the fall of 2013 Abbie and J.P. got the crazy idea to open their own health club that would have all the workout stuff the warehouse gyms had (and more) but also a friendly, local vibe where members and staff could feel the difference. Thousands of happy members later it appears it wasn’t so crazy after all! The owners are humbled the community loves Fitness Now and they love them right back!
