What You'll Get
In the volley of life, sometimes a whirling, fuzzy, green, bloodsucking critter is barreling toward your head and you just gotta smack it away. Today's Groupon gives rookie tennis players a chance to hone their skills against an opponent that's neither a wall nor a Wii. For $45, you’ll get six weeks of adult tennis classes through the Baseline program, plus full Gold membership for the duration of the classes, at the Five Seasons Family Sports Club in Cincinnati or Crestview Hills (a $99 value). This Groupon is for the Baseline program’s March session only. Your six weeks begin after your first class and run consecutively.
The six-week Baseline course, designed for adult beginners, offers all the perks of more-complex programs without the long-term commitment. A certified tennis pro will teach you and your fellow beginners the essentials of stroke technique, serving, and playing the game competitively, using skill, not crossbows. And you'll get to have fun practicing what you learn against opponents who won't laugh if you whiff the occasional serve or skin your shins and accidentally cry in your pants. Classes typically take place evenings and afternoons; more classes may be added based on demand (call the club for more information). If you don't have your own racket, the club will loan you one.
Throughout your six-week class session, you'll also enjoy full access to the Cincinnati and Crestview Hills Five Seasons clubs as a temporary Gold member, giving you use of an indoor pool, indoor track, indoor basketball and racquetball courts, fitness and cardio areas, and studios to accommodate more than 50 group classes per week. You can also luxuriate in saunas, whirlpools, and a casual-dining area with a bar, perfect for the between-gigs assassin, rapper, or both. (Groupon buyers are asked to choose one location to take their tennis lessons but may use their temporary Gold membership at either location.) Five Seasons provides all the amenities you need to stay fit and entertained during the Midwest's annual five seasons' worth of meteorological unpleasantries, including admission to a welcoming reception, a member appreciation party, and a graduation mixer.

About Five Seasons Family Sports Club
The Five Seasons Family Sports Club houses tennis courts, a dining area, fitness facilities, swimming pools, and a full-service spa under one roof. Within air-conditioned indoor courts or on outdoor hard or clay courts, racquet slingers compete in friendly bouts to sharpen swings, refine backhands, and showcase grunting abilities. Members can also break a sweat in exercise areas speckled with modern cardio equipment and weights or cool off in a pool with diving wells and wading areas. Before meeting others for a postgame beverage at the lively café, clients can wander to the spa for a relaxing massage or partake in a sports workshop to gain a firm grasp on game mechanics.
