Well neither would we, and since this is everyone's first Groupon, allow us to briefly explain how it works.

How Groupon Works

Groupon is a combination of the words group and coupon. Each day, we offer an unbeatable deal on the best of San Jose: restaurants, spas, sporting events, theater, and more. By promising businesses a minimum number of customers, we get discounts you won't find anywhere else. We call it "collective buying power"!

If you want to get the deal, just click BUY before the offer ends at midnight. If the minimum number of people (15 for today's deal) sign up by the end of the day, you'll get a printable gift certificate in your inbox the next morning that you can use whenever you want (well, at least until the deal expires—today's expires in one year). If not enough people join, no one gets the deal (and you won't be charged), so invite your friends to make sure you get the discount!

Flames celebrates the gift of glowing heat by serving up enormous, high-quality mouth-treats in a modern, sleek, Las Vegasy setting.

American grub meets Italian and Greek and gives birth to a monster of a menu. Treat your taste receptors to tasty treats such as the grilled chicken pesto flatbread ($9.50), crispy calamari Caesar salad ($12.95), Greek pizza (topped with grilled chicken and a chilled Greek veggie and feta salad, served with homemade tzatziki sauce, $10.95), and the whiskey peppercorn pork chops ($15.95). With seafood, pasta, and vegetarian options, it’ll be a challenge to pick one dish over another—the type of challenge where your stomach determines the winner.

For early morning human fuel, choose from a plethora of palate pleasers. Flames features a mindblowingly expansive breakfast menu including eggs, crepes, omelettes, french toast, pancakes, waffles, scrambles, skillets, and specialties (breakfast pizza, breakfast sandwich, and more).

Flames Eatery is stocked with a bar stocked with drinks that will satisfy the most discriminating thirsty throats. Signature Flame-tinis run the gamut, from the Moscow Mule to the Singapore Flame to the vanilla apple cosmo ($7.75 each). Flame-jitos and Flame-ritas add to the romantic triangle and will tempt any hyphen aficionado, or tipple wine (starting at $5 per glass) and draught or bottled beer.
