Music festivals are a sure sign that summer is near, just like sunflowers in bloom or snowmen screaming in agony. Celebrate the eternal cycle with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options
- $19.99 for two tickets to the indoor Blue Collar Music and Beer Festival (a $40 value)
- $34.99 for four tickets to the indoor Blue Collar Music and Beer Festival (an $80 value)
From 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, at the Arizona Event Center, festival-goers sample a range of classic domestic beers—such as Old Style, Pabst Blue Ribbon, and Rolling Rock—while listening to five bands play live music in genres ranging from classic rock to rockabilly. The event also features a separate American craft-beer garden and a bikini contest with a cash prize. Each guest receives 20 6-ounce beer samples with admission.
Tim Flanigan created the event-planning company that bears his name in order to quench beer enthusiasts' thirst while supporting worthy causes. His Beat the Heat WinterFest brings a much-needed frosty edge to summertime in Arizona, and the Spring Swing Beer Bash kicks off baseball season with cold glassfuls of hoppy, wheaty, and malty goodness. The festivals showcase local and internationally renowned breweries, from Phoenix's own Old World Brewery and Phoenix Ale Brewery to Stella Artois and Hoegaarden Brewery.
Past events, which have benefitted children's charities, have been held at the 30,000-square-foot Arizona Event Center and The Venue Scottsdale, whose stone walls, chandeliers, and retractable roof resemble the medieval football stadiums of yore.
