Is Text-Tutoring Actually Effective?
Yes! FLEXT has been used and proven to work in school districts throughout California! While text-based tutoring is not designed to replace a student’s existing support system, it effectively fills in the gaps. In addition, transcripts of each text-based session are provided.
Who Are Your "Flextpert" Tutors?
All FLEXT tutors are highly qualified and have scored 95 or higher on all Content Mastery Performance Metrics in their given subject area. FLEXT takes student safety seriously and all tutors have passed Department of Justice and Megan’s Law clearances. Additionally, all FLEXT tutors are trained to coach students who are feeling stress and anxiety, resulting in the development of strategies that support growth in key social-emotional skills.

FLEX Academic Services support high school students with test prep, tutoring, competition preparation and more.
Middle School Services: FLEX HeadStart is the first step for middle school students who want to take part in a comprehensive, institutional plan that allows them to develop their learning experiences over an extended period of time, with each stage of learning building meaningfully on the one that preceded it. At each stage of their pre-college preparation, FLEX HeadStart allows students to position themselves to take advantage of opportunities and to gain a competitive edge.
