The Familiarization (introductory) Flight is the first lesson in everyone’s flight training. You will become acquainted with flight in introductory lesson with Transport Canada certified Flight Instructor. During the flight you will be treated just like our regular student pilot, and you will be introduced to the foundational exercises for your flight training, show you some landmarks, and when a suitable occasion arises, an opportunity will be given to handle the controls.

Introductory Flight is also a good opportunity to learn more about flying as a career. Gain insights into the world of aviation firsthand, as our knowledgeable Instructor shares fascinating tidbits and answers your burning questions about aircraft, navigation, and the wonders of flight. With our Familiarization Flight you will experience:

• Pre-Flight Briefing
• Pre-Flight Inspection (EMPENNAGE, RIGHT WING, NOSE, LEFT WING, and CABIN)
• Taxing
• Radio calls
• Take-off
• In-Flight Instruction
• Take Control of the Aircraft “I have Control”

This Familiarization flight is only available to one person. If you would like to share your learning experience and mark special occasions or celebrate milestones, an additional passenger is welcomed to join you at no additional cost.

This Familiarization Flight is offered by Transport Canada certified Flight Training Unit. Therefore, Safety is our top priority, ensuring you have a seamless and secure experience from start to finish. So, sit back, relax, and let your dreams take flight with us! Participant must be 16 or older. Younger than 18 must have guardian-signed waiver. Maximum allowable weight of 200 lbs per passenger. Government Issued photo ID is required. Parking is free.
