Grant Hamilton and Angela Gatti worked as a pilot and a teacher, respectively, but they found themselves longing for lives with a bit more glamour to them. They reminisced about the 1950s, when flight was new and exciting, Pan Am ruled the skies, and jet setters sampled food and drink around the globe. They decided to turn that nostalgia into a business, creating Flight Lounge. While much of the decor is period-aviation-themed, they also serve a wide selection of craft beverages, all available in flights. Diners can stop in to sample new beers and ciders on the 12 rotating taps, available in flights of four. The wine list boasts even more variety, with grapes ranging from chardonnay to sangiovese and old-vine zinfandel; guests can sample the range in flights of three. Even some of the food is available by flight. Grilled cheeses, for instance, come in flights showcasing a variety of cheeses.
