Dancing is a festive way to get a full-body workout, much like weight-lifting party hats or boxing a clown. Do a calorie-burning jig with today's Groupon: for $30, you get four Flirty Girl Fitness classes at Elegant Body Pilates with Jacqueline Valdez (an $80 value).
Featured on Entertainment Tonight and The Dr. Oz Show, Flirty Girl Fitness classes get students shimmying into cardio-intensive, strength-building dance moves inspired by music videos and pop culture. Created by and for women, Flirty Girl classes have a fun, hot-pink perspective on fitness that requires music and space but no equipment or domesticated exercise-aardvarks. "Beyoncé," "Pulp Fiction," and other Foundation Moves are repeated dance steps that target specific body parts, forming the core of the curriculum. Pupils sashay the moves into dance routines that include "All About Abs" and "Ultimate Upper Body." In the course of a session, the routines mix and mingle under the guidance of one of Elegant Body Pilates' certified fitness sirens to become whole-body Flirty Circuits that get hearts pumping, muscles toning, and hips making eyes.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Dance and fitness are my passion. I love sharing my knowledge, talents and skills while inspiring and improving others dance and fitness levels. I believe you can workout in safe, effective and unique ways yet have fun. I am working hard on changing the stigma to pole fitness.
What do you love most about your job?
I love that my studio is my family. I enjoy witnessing my clients confidence grow and their bodies transform. I also enjoy putting performances together sharing their hard work and being a part of the many charity events we do around the community. I love making a difference in others lives.
