What You'll Get
Before pizza, college kids simultaneously cured hunger and procrastination by eating their homework assignments. Bite into less arduous flavors with today's Groupon: for $10, you get $20 worth of Italian fare at Florentine Pizzeria Ristorante and Sports Bar. This Groupon is valid for the Grand Rapids and Belmont locations.
Florentine Pizzeria Ristorante and Sports Bar's chefs concoct robust Italian entrees from scratch, and servers deliver them in a lively interior dining area lined with 12 TVs. Opt for a pizza from Florentine's extensive menu, which catalogs personalized pies ($7.99+), piled with fresh toppings and buttressed with Chicago-style, hand-tossed, or gluten-free crust. Alternatively, diners can dive into a seafood grilled pizza ($9.99), topped with a trio of seafood and crisped over an open flame. Imported Italian pasta, such as seven-cheese lasagna ($10.99)—with one cheese for each European who stays home during the World Cup—tangos passionately with attention-hungry cutlery, and stuffed chicken scallopini protectively bear hugs capicola ham and melted cheese. Florentine rounds out its savory selection with thick subs and eclectically topped burgers, including a pesto-kissed bruschetta burger ($8.49).
The Uccello family jazzes each of the Florentine locations with live music, trivia, and karaoke, as large-screen televisions broadcast competitive sports such as baseball or cardigan-sewing racing.

About Flo's Pizzeria Ristorante & Sports Bar
Davide and Daniele Uccello were just 19 and 24 years old, respectively, when they opened Flo's Pizzeria Ristorante and Sports Bar in 2011. Since then, they've defied those who thought they were too young with the continuing success of their restaurant. Born in Sicily to a restaurateur father, the brothers serve a mixture of authentic Italian and American dishes, incorporating ingredients from local merchants like Krupp Farms and Sunrise Bakery.
In the kitchen, the eatery's chefs whip up hearty entrees like strombolis and oven-baked subs brimming with hand-crafted meatballs and fresh veggies. However, their pizza menu is where they really shine. With a create-your-own option that includes toppings ranging from caramelized onions to fresh rosemary, and specialty pies like the chicken parmesan or their signature pizza that's loaded with six different meats, they create each pizza from scratch. This attention to detail is worth it–the pizzeria has been showered with multiple awards around the world, including winning 1st place in the Best Pizza in America category at the 2017 Campionato Mondiale Della Pizza in Parma, Italy.
