Florida Keys Stand Up Paddleboards makes use of a private stretch of beach right in front of Marker 88, a popular restaurant and bar in Key Largo. Instructors Christi Allen and Lizzie Wood specialize in Pilates and yoga, respectively, and they often teach their classes on paddleboards. That's right—students actually stretch into the various poses as the water shifts slightly beneath them, lending an additional core exercise (not to mention some beautiful scenery) to each workout.

Of course, the paddleboards are also available to rent recreationally, as are a number of kayaks and fish-drawn chariots. Many a pleasant day can be spent paddling along the beach before retiring to Marker 88 for food, drinks, and live music. Christi and Lizzie even provide beach-side child care, keeping kids engaged with games and water sports.
