Tuesday–Saturday, instructors begin trail rides with brief lessons on safety and steering before groups of up to 10 loop through the Chattahoochee National Forest. Clad in boots with a small heel, long pants, and a provided helmet, equestrians fish for riding-attire compliments from their steeds while trout flash down babbling streams.
Alternatively, tots interact with equines Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., learning through two pony rides and nature hikes. Themed areas spur imaginations with medieval-, princess-, barnyard-, and Wild West–inspired play. Kids construct crafts in a horse-stall sandbox, visit barnyard pets, help with mini rancher farm chores, and learn through horse-themed games, sing-a-longs, and a farmyard puppet show. A barnyard bounce house burns energy, which wee ones recover with a parent-supplied lunch and snack.<p>
