What You'll Get

America has always been the most extreme country, from the Boston Tea Punchings to having the first man swear on the moon. We hold this sick 360 aerial flip to be self-evident with today's Groupon: for $49, you get a package of three adrenaline-charged indoor simulated sports from iFly Utah, Flowrider, and iRock Utah (an $89 value). All three facilities are located in the same building in Ogden. The package includes:

• One indoor skydive at iFly (a $49 value).
• A one-hour surfing session at Flowrider (a $30 value).
• A one-day rock-climbing pass at iRock (a $10 value for adults).

Housing a triumvirate of thrilling endeavors, iFly Utah, Flowrider, and iRock Utah triply challenge enthusiastic athletes to experience the rush of the free fall, the splash of the surf, and the solace of the rock from within their safe and controlled environment. Groupon customers can tackle this trio of thrills in a single day, or divide up the adventure in half or in thirds like a hydra shaving.

Before the indoor skydive, iFly's experienced staff trains wind walkers in optimum flight positions and hand signals before gearing them up in a suit, helmet, goggles, and wings fashioned from Newton's notebooks. Once trained and outfitted, students are ready for two minutes of flight time inside the vertical wind tunnel, a wall-to-wall chamber of controllable airflow ready for smooth sailing. Flowrider's wave machine continues matter-state explorations, churning a 34-foot sheet of water in which pupils learn how to drop onto the wave crest, climb its face, and carve Class of 2012 Rulez into its wake. Climbers of all skill levels enjoy a day of climbing at iRock Utah, scaling 30- to 55-foot walls while safely secured in a top-rope belay system.

About Flowrider and iFly

The surfer was getting dangerously close to the crest. It was a huge wave, spanning 34 feet, but the last thing he wanted was to bail in front of his friends. Leaning into the water and weaving side to side, he kept his balance for just a few moments longer before tumbling onto the soft mats and safe bail area of the Flowrider. He'd be ready for the real thing come summer. This is just one of the adventures that await thrill-seekers-in-training at the Salomon Center. Away from the Flowrider's manmade surf, top-rope belay systems cradle climbers as they scale iRock's craggy, gray peaks. Incorporating holds that change monthly, these indoor climbing walls shoot upwards to heights of 55 feet. Alternatively, bouldering areas stay closer to the ground and exchange ropes for padded surfaces. Meanwhile, iFLY exchanges footholds for a column of high-speed, shooting air, which elevates would-be fliers to simulate the feeling of skydiving or being kicked out of a moving UFO.
