What You'll Get
Flying is a lot like having a staring contest: even with utter concentration, you’ll never be better at it than birds. Go toe-to-beak with our winged companions with today's Groupon to Fly Corona!, located at the Corona Municipal Airport. Choose between two options:
- For $99, you get a 90-minute Santa Catalina demo flight for up to two people (a $199 value).
- For $49, you get a 30-minute Lake Matthews demo flight for up to two people (a $99 value).
With a team of expert wingmen and a fleet of immaculate aircraft, Fly Corona! provides hands-on flight instruction to aspiring aeronauts of all skill levels. Each demo flight begins by acquainting first-time cloudsurfers with the rules of the wild blue expressway, then hopping into an air steed. Once in the air, students take the reins, piloting toward one of two aquatic destinations. Throughout the lofty adventure, one of the center's certified flight instructors will function as a co-main pilot, doing everything within his wingspan to create a safe and enjoyable hands-on experience. Take to the skies with a significant other or acrophobic stuffed animal, then enjoy an elevated perspective of the area’s natural beauty. Choose the Santa Catalina flight for a bird’s-eye view of Santa Catalina Island, Disneyland, and Knott's Berry Farm, or opt for the Lake Matthews excursion for a scenic troposphere of Corona, Riverside, and Lake Matthews. Both flights give potential aerialists the chance to experience the feeling of flight and learn how to tickle clouds until they accidentally flood a city.

About Fly Corona
While sailing high above Southern California in the cockpit of a Cessna Skyhawk, a pilot can look down at the land below and see everything from undisturbed wilderness to commuters stuck in traffic. The pilots and certified instructors at Fly Corona help others uncover this bird's-eye view of the world through demonstration flights and individual lessons. During demos, passengers frequently take the controls themselves as the instructor supervises, and several full aviation training programs help students work toward getting their pilot's license, an ID vital for getting into eagles' mountain-top nightclubs.
