It was quite hard to get in the air so don't expect to look like the pictures. Also we did not get a tee shirt and the video that we got was a short (1 min), poorly shot low quality video taken on a go-pro. The place was also impossible to find.

Ascend 10–45 feet high on a Flyboard; the Hoverboard combines surfing and flying

Choose Between Two Options

  • C$79 for a Flyboarding session (C$204 value)
  • C$104 for a Hoverboarding session (C$234 value)
  • Both options include a video and T-shirt.

Flyboarding: Futuristic Fun in the Sun

Flyboarding is a dramatic new way to experience the water. Follow Groupon’s primer on the sport to learn how it works.

The brainchild of French jet-ski champion Franky Zapata, the Flyboard harnesses powerful jets of water to launch wearers as high as 30 feet in the air above the water’s surface. On the top of the board are two boots for your feet to slip into, while the bottom holds two jets that supply the bulk of the propulsion. Two less-powerful handheld jets help stabilize your flight and perform turns, flips, and dives midair—think of all four of them acting as sturdy but bendy stilts much like those used by giraffes. All Flyboards must be connected to a personal watercraft such as a jet ski via a hose, which supplies the water and horsepower. The contraption emits 1,000 gallons of water each minute and can generate about 400 pounds of lift.

The Next Extreme Sport?

Flyboarding first emerged in 2011, and the dazzling moves the machine enables have already captured the imagination of numerous aquatic acrobats: backflips, dolphin dives, and inverted spins are all popular. There have now been two Flyboarding World Championships, the first of which attracted 50 competitors from 21 countries to Qatar in 2012.

Not explained in the Groupon is the additional tax that must be paid when you arrive. I have no problem paying it if was listed on the site in such a way that made it seem legitimate. Just asking for money when you arrive seems sketchy.

Bad Bad organize schedule. Fun but wasting a lot of time to wait even you book the schedule.

Terrible customer service. The booking process: 1. Call Flyboarding number and leave voicemail 2. Send Flyboarding email with booking request. 3. Text Flyboarding with booking request 4. Whatsapp message Flyboarding with booking request. 5. Call Flyboarding number at 1130 PM at night cos it was a cell number and thought "maybe they will have fewer calls at night." --- picked up. Got referred to Flyboarding Montreal to make booking. 6. Call Flyboarding Montreal - referred to email. 7. Complain and forwarded email that was already previously written. 8. Finally booked. The service at Flyboarding: 1. Spoke with rep in advance to ensure there would be a place to put my things while Flyboarding, and they said yes. Arrived there, only to be told that they would not watch my things. 2. Vague instructions about how to find the Flyboarding place ("the black tent on the beach" -- it's a long strip of beach that had multiple tents. Would have been better had they told us, the west end of the beach) Overall, a fun experience was a lot more of a headache so it took away from the enjoyment of it.
