Q:

When I first saw the Groupon I thought there was a extension date to the end of 2013 rather than just August, 2013. But I'm not seeing this anymore. How long ARE the groupons I just purchased good for? Also, I'll best learn to use my new Lumix GF2 and the new lenses I got in Digital 101, correct?

bjp  asked on  Jan 6, 2013

A:

Correct! It is good through the end of 2013 (so Dec. 31, 2013). And yes - Digital 101 would be a great choice for that!

Q:

I have two questions: (1) Is there a certain time you have to participate for the course on teh Mondays or is it anytime on Monday? (2) If I am interested in taking the digital 101 class with that help me with my Canon camera I just got? Or is there a specific brand that the course covers?

Tiffany B.  asked on  Jan 3, 2013

A:

Tiffany, it is anytime you want during the week! The 101 class would be great for you - it would absolutely work for a Canon.

Q:

What time on Modays? I have never done an online class and have no idea how this works.

Peggy W.  asked on  Jan 3, 2013

A:

Hi Peggy! The course "unlocks" to you at that time, but you can log in to view the material anytime you want during the month ... and you keep your access to the course through the remainder of the year. I hope that helps!

Q:

Sorry to ask so many questions but what is the difference between the point and shoot class and the digital 101 class. I have the Nikon coolpix P510 and want to learn how to use the camera manually and not use the automatic mode. Thanks

Janet C.  asked on  Jan 3, 2013

A:

They cover the same topics, but the Point & Shoot class is designed to help you access/use those settings specifically on a point & shoot camera ... one without interchangeable lenses. I hope that helps!

Q:

I received a Nikon coolpix P510 for Christmas but have no idea how to use it, other then automatic mode. Is this the type of class that would help me?

Janet C.  asked on  Jan 3, 2013

A:

Absolutely! Janet, our Point & Shoot course would be perfect for you in helping you figure out how to use the settings.

Q:

I see this class is for SLR cameras. Is the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX150 an SLR camera?

Angie K.  asked on  Jan 2, 2013

A:

That would be a great camera for our Point & Shoot course!
