Q:

How does it work? Do you send an email of what to do? Can you explain the process of the class a little more please?

Michelle K.  asked on  Jan 14, 2013

A:

You purchase the voucher, then register for the class of your choosing. You will not only be selecting a certain class, but the month to take your class (each class begins the first Monday of the month, and runs for 4 consecutive weeks). On that first Monday, you'll receive a very thorough document that walks you through how to log into your course. Your course material is available for you to view during the month of your course, as well as through the remainder of 2013! Your class will consist of videos, worksheets, quizzes and assignments ... each designed to further develop your knowledge of the course topics. I hope that helps!

Q:

I have recently completed two digital photography courses a local university and might like to sign up for one of your classes through this Groupon offer. What class would you recommend? (I never took a photography class before these, so while I don't shoot on Auto anymore, I could definitely use more help in several areas.) I have a Canon G12 and use Lightroom 4. I have a very strong preference for architectural photography.

Q:

So, if I buy 3 classes I can take 101, 102, and something else? I have the T3i and would love to take more professional looking pictures

Michelle K.  asked on  Jan 13, 2013

A:

Correct! Our classes would be perfect for you and your camera ... we love the T3i here!

Q:

I just got a mirrorless camera for my birthday (Sony NEX C3). It's not an SLR, but it has many manual options I'm very interested in learning to utilize. Would this be an appropriate camera for this course? Thanks!

Holly J.  asked on  Jan 12, 2013

A:

Actually, we would call that camera a DSLR, as it offers interchangeable lenses (assuming we're talking about the same camera!). In that case, 101 would be a great fit for you!
