Drawing on many of the principles of the CrossFit program, Fort Wayne Strength and Conditioning's Essentials of Health and Fitness program introduces workout novices to the basics of body movement, fitness, and healthy living. The program starts with a comprehensive physical evaluation from owner Justin Springer and associate Dr. Heath Nagel, allowing the creation of a regimen that focuses specifically on each individual's fitness needs and goals. Over the course of 20 sessions, you will build on workout methods and proper movement in a group setting designed to improve attendance, increase results, and make training more fun. Group training sessions are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. Along with the training sessions, Fort Wayne Strength and Conditioning's sweat donors also get to attend four presentations given by experts in the fields of health and fitness, who will delve into subjects like nutrition, psychological well-being, and children's exercise.
